Canyoning I
Course addressed to those who want to get started in doing canyoning or for those who have already done canyoning with a guide but want to learn to do it by themselves.

Contenidos
- Day 1: Theory and aquatic ravine without rappelling
- Theoretical introduction: material, basic knots, reading and interpreting sketches, first-aids kit and emergency protocol.
- Ravine practice: Horizontal progression, vertical progression, obstacles in ravine: jumps, slides, siphons, rock chaos, obstructions, overhang and reading and understanding the itinerary.
- Day 2: Aquatic ravine with rappel
- Rappel installation in ravines: water rappels (adjusted, simples, preventives) and dry auto-assured rappels.
- Rappelling with different specific ravine devices, with classical 8 and dynamic knot.
- Simple-returnable handrails installation and progression through already installed handrails.
- Practicing the techniques learned the previous day during progression.
- Pooling and revising.
Necessary material
- Full ravine suit
- Climbing helmet
- Ravine footwear
- Neoprene gloves (optional)
- Ravine knife
- Ravine harness with anchoring ropes
- Ravine bag and watertight drum
- Whistle
- Express band with two HMS safety carabiners
- Four HMS carabiners
- Ravine lowering device with carabiner
- Classical 8 lowering device
- 2 7mm & 1,5 mtrs lines for marching
- 1 small mechanical blocker like tibloc
